Experiencing and dealing with unwanted changes is often a very painful part of life. We tend to feel that relationships, jobs, possessions and other external sources will give us the lasting pleasure, comfort and security we crave. However, genuine inner peace and happiness come from a completely different source.

During this 3-part course, you will learn methods for truly enjoying life through an exploration of Buddha’s teachings.  This wisdom can help you to develop a mental resilience that will keep you happy and peaceful in even the most challenging circumstances. Fully embrace every moment of your life and find real satisfaction in being of true benefit to others.  Open to everyone, regardless of previous experience.

SATURDAY FEB 29 / 10.00-11.15am

Impermanence and letting go.  The people and things we hold onto and worry about are in a state of constant change. By contemplating Buddha’s teachings on life and death we can discover how to live within the experience of the truth of impermanence. In this way we can learn to reduce our mental clinging and begin to let go and enjoy life to the full in the midst of change.

SATURDAY MAR 7 / 10.00-11.15am

Developing mental resiliance.  We tend to feel that relationships, jobs, possessions and other external things alone will give us the lasting pleasure, comfort and security we crave. However genuine inner peace, happiness and quality of life come from a completely different source.

SATURDAY MAR 14 / 10.00-11.15am

Living with grace and clarity.  Through meditation, we can become a strong, wise and peaceful person and find we have the ability to face all the great changes life throws at us with grace, clarity and strength. In this way, we will find we can be benefit to ourself and others.
