ABOUT THE COURSE

We have heard that when we change  our mind, we change our life. So, we may wonder: what is our mind, how do we really change it and what benefits can we expect?

We will explore these questions and find out how every moment of our life can be an opportunity to create our destiny and become th eperson we wish to be.

This half-day course provides practical instruction as well as the experience of two or more different guided meditations, and time to answer your questions.

9.30-10.30am:  Session 1

10.30-10.45am:  Brief Break

10.45am-11.30pm:  Session 2

11:30am-11:45am:  Brief Break

11:45am-12:30m:  Session 3

ABOUT THE TEACHER

      Julia Anderson is our Education Program Coordinator and a member of the Teacher Training Program.  She teaches our Introduction to Meditation day course and other day courses  Her teaching leadership and consulting skills experience enhances the clarity and effectiveness of her teaching.

Q. Do I need to be a Buddhist to attend?

No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind.

Q. Do I need to have any experience?

No. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.

Q. How should I dress?

No special clothing is required, come as you are.

Q. Is there any physical exercise involved?

No. The classes focus on meditation and teachings alone. You can choose to sit on a chair or meditation cushion.

Q. Do I need to book in advance?

No, it is not necessary to book in advance.
