A Bodhisattva is a person who, motivated by great compassion, has developed a spontaneous wish to attain enlightenment for the sake of all living beings. We can learn to follow the Bodhisattva’s way of life by practicing the six perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration, and wisdom. In this course we will learn how to emulate the thoughts and deeds of a Bodhisattva and transform our ordinary daily life into the Bodhisattva’s way of life.
In this class, we will focus on the Perfection of Patience
When we practise patience we are wearing the supreme inner armour that directly protects us from physical sufferings, mental pain and other problems. With the practice of patience we can overcome our anger and accomplish any spiritual aim. There is no greater virtue than patience.
