Happiness is a state of mind, therefore the real source of happiness lies in the mind, not in external situations.  When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness.

“If we want to experience true, lasting happiness, we need to learn the secret of inner peace by meditating.”  Ven Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Stress Reduction

Meditation will allow you to relax, refresh and renew your mind, providing you with effective tools for dealing with stress, worry and anxiety.

Inner Calm

If we practice meditation we will experience a calm, spacious feeling in the mind.  Daily challenges will be easier to deal with and many of our usual problems will fall away.

Problem Solving Solutions

Meditation helps us to gain clarity and perspective so we develop a positive outlook on life, gain authentic self-confidence and enjoy better relationships with others.

To Transform Your Life

Four Ways to Create Joy

SATURDAYS, NOV 20, 27, DEC 4, 11 | 10.00-11.45 am

Reconnecting with family, friends and our community requires more than sharing a common space, we need to cultivate and share a common joy.  Unlocking our potential for pure happiness will make our renewed relationships stronger and filled with more love.

30-Minute Noon Meditation

MONDAY to FRIDAY | 12.15-12.45pm

Take half an hour at lunchtime to relax, refresh and de-stress.  Cultivate inner peace through a guided practice and enjoy the rest of your day with an inspired and positive mind.  With regular practice these meditations help us to experience mental clarity, a sense of well-being, and increased love and compassion for others.

Solutions for our Human Problems

MONDAYS, NOV 22 – DEC 13 | 7.00-8.15pm

In the Sutra of Four Noble Truths, Buddha says: “You should know sufferings. You should abandon origins. You should attain cessations. You should practice the path.”  By deeply understanding the four noble truths we shall develop a strong wish to be released from samsara and all its associated sufferings.

Drawing of Buddha talking to Angulimala

What Inspires You?

“May I become a protector for the protectorless,

A guide for those who travel on the road,

And, for those who wish to cross the water,

May I become a boat, a ship, or a bridge.

May I become an island for those seeking dry land,

A lamp for those needing light,

A place of rest for those who desire one,

And a servant for those needing service.”

Learning Resources

If we do not strive to develop our wisdom we will always remain ignorant of ultimate truth – the true nature of reality.  Although we wish for happiness, our ignorance leads us to engage in non-virtuous actions, which are the main cause of all our suffering.
