WHY MEDITATE?

Happiness is a state of mind, therefore the real source of happiness lies in the mind, not in external situations.  When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness.

The Inner Balance of Equanimity

Monday, JAN 17 | 7.00-8.15 pm

In this class, we will focus on understanding equanimity and then developing the experience of equanimity through meditation.  Equanimity is a warm and friendly feeling towards all living beings. Equanimity frees our mind from unbalanced attitudes such as anger, jealousy and fear.  Join us and re-balance your mind for 2022.

30-Minute Noon Meditation

MONDAY to FRIDAY | 12.15-12.45pm

Take half an hour at lunchtime to relax, refresh and de-stress.  Cultivate inner peace through a guided practice and enjoy the rest of your day with an inspired and positive mind.  With regular practice these meditations help us to experience mental clarity, a sense of well-being, and increased love and compassion for others.

Staying Inspired in Everyday Life

Finding peace, starts with training the mind and taking control.  Through Buddha’s deep and profound understanding of the mind, we’ll learn to develop and maintain a realistic and positive outlook, especially during our uncertain times.  Open to all levels, from complete beginner to experienced meditators.

International Kadampa Festivals

These Festivals provide a precious opportunity to study and practice the special presentation of modern Buddhism taught by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.  The Festivals consist of teachings, empowerments and meditations, with short retreats to finish with.  Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of experience.
