WEEKLY TOPICS
FEB 7 ~ What is Real Happiness?
Buddha taught that inner peace is the cause of real happiness. When our mind is peaceful, we can be happy regardless of our external circumstances. Join us in exploring the real nature of happiness and how to begin experiencing it.
FEB 14 ~ What are the Causes of Happiness?
In our modern world we place much emphasis on improving our external conditions because we think this is how to become happy. In this class we look beyond the causes of fleeting moments of pleasure and focus on how to produce lasting peace of mind.
FEB 21 ~ Taking Control of our Perception
Perception shapes our experience. When we change the way we see our world, our experience of that world also changes. In this class we will examine how to gradually gain control over our perception and how to use this to transform our experiences for the better.
FEB 28 ~ Learning to Happily Accept
The practice of patience is one of the essential methods taught by Buddha for developing our mind of love and eventually finding permanent happiness. Patience is the antidote to anger and hatred and makes our mind strong and peaceful.
