Buddhist meditation is widely known for its ability to help people remove their inner causes of suffering. It is also about becoming happier and happier — discovering the deep peace, joy, and bliss we all have inside of us.
Join Sachi Tamura from the Bodhichitta Kadampa Buddhist Centre for this series of classes that introduce the practice of meditation and its benefits in our daily life.
LEARNING HOW TO BE HAPPY
Topic for April TBD
Although everyone wants to be happy, sometimes we find it difficult to be happy even for a whole day. However, Buddha taught that everyone has a profound inner potential to experience lasting, pure happiness, which we can develop through spiritual practices like meditation and mindfulness. We will learn step by step how to let go of anxiety, frustration and other problems, and how to develop greater levels of lasting peace and happiness
Practicing these step-by-step carefully crafted meditations will nourish the qualities in our mind that lead to our happiness and reduce our painful thoughts and feelings. We will notice our mind becoming healthier, stronger, and finally more enlightened.
