Everyone is Supremely Precious
Part of the Humble Virtue or Arrogant Pride? series
Nothing good ever comes from dwelling on our own qualities and others’ faults. All that happens is that we develop a highly distorted, self-important view of ourself, and an arrogant, disrespectful attitude towards others. In this series we will explore the advantages of humility and how it enables us to learn from everyone.
In this class, Gen Zopa will focus on how we can begin to ‘change our mind’ for the better.
Minds such as love and kindness are based on reality and are an expression of our pure nature. Thus when we view others as kind we are seeing beyond their delusions and are relating to their pure nature.
