Gaining Conviction through Meditation
Part of the Faith and the Logical Mind series
The life we wish to have and the world we wish to experience are created upon the foundation of faith and reason. Faith is not simply belief. When faith is based on reasoning it becomes a powerful force for good in our lives.
In this class, Gen Zopa will explain how to gain conviction in Buddhist beliefs. Meditation is a mind that concentrates on a virtuous object, and that is the main cause of mental peace. The more familiar our mind is with virtue, the calmer and more peaceful it becomes. Eventually we shall be able to maintain a peaceful mind continuously, throughout our life.
NEW: A 10-15 minute question and answer period has been added at the end of each class.
