Letting Go of Anger and Resentment
Part of the Transforming Family Relationships Series
In this series, experienced Bodhichitta teachers will give us practical advice on how to apply Buddha’s teachings to everyday family life.
In this class, the third of the series, Olivera will help us understand how anger destroys our relationships along with our mental peace and happiness.
Living in anger is not a happy place to be and being angry at situations, others, or ourselves is going to make our family relationships suffer. By gaining an understanding of the faulty thinking behind anger, we can develop the patience that transforms our relationships with our partners, children, and siblings, and restore peace in our homes.
“There is no greater evil than anger,
And no greater virtue than patience.”
~~Shantideva, 8th century
