Our Buddha Potential

Part of the Creating a Pure World Series

When we completely purify our mind through Tantric practice, our world, our self, our enjoyments and our activities also become completely pure – this is the state of enlightenment.  Attaining enlightenment is therefore very simple; all we need to do is apply effort to purifying our mind and activating our Buddha potential.

In this class, the second of the series, Gen Zopa will focus on how to create the causes for our Buddha nature to ripen.

Each and every living being has within them the seed or potential to become a Buddha – this is our Buddha nature.  Our Buddha nature is our root mind.  Although its nature is like a blue sky, temporarily, it is pervaded by the clouds of delusion.  Through wisdom we can remove the clouds of delusion and create the causes for our Buddha nature to ripen.
