Learning to Encourage Ourself

We often find ourselves in positions that we do not like and cannot change. This leaves us with unpleasant and uncomfortable feelings. We can feel trapped in these negative mindsets. We may not be able to change our external situation, but we can change our restless, discontented minds. When our mind is free from distraction and craving we can experience its natural stillness, allowing us to find peace and contentment in every moment of our life, regardless of the external situation.

In this class, we will focus on our great potential.  Imagine going through life in a state of deep peace fully present and available to others, completely at ease and brimming with optimism, seeing the beauty in everything.  According to Buddha, each of us has within us an extraordinary potential for inner growth and transformation.
