Meditation Classes | IN-PERSON

Suitable for everyone!  These classes offer practical methods to improve the quality of our lives through meditation and Buddhist teachings.  See detailed course descriptions below.

DAY:  Thursday, 7.00-8.00pm

WHERE:  Fairfield Gonzales Community Association, Huckleberry Room | 1330 Fairfield Road, Victoria

COST:  $15 Drop-in per class (or included in GP Centre Card Membership)

IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE

Please arrive a few minutes before class starts and pay at the classroom door (cash, cheque or credit/debit) .

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

Enrol in a $60 monthly membership and enjoy unlimited drop-in access to these classes plus discounts on other Bodhichitta Centre events. (Please enrol online at least 3 days before the class)

Introduction to Buddhist Meditation

Buddhist meditation is widely known for its ability to help people remove their inner causes of suffering.  It is also about becoming happier and happier — discovering the deep peace, joy, and bliss we all have inside of us.

Join Kelsang Tsulma for a relaxing  guided meditation and talk in which she will explain how to use the power of meditation to tap into this potential for lasting happiness.  We can learn to pacify distraction, negative thoughts, and unhappiness, and thereby come to discover an authentic experience of peace.

Kelsang Tsulma

Kelsang Tsulma is an ordained Buddhist nun who has been practicing Buddhism for over 20 years. Her practical and heartfelt teachings draw from a wealth of life experiences.

Q. Do I need to have any experience?
No. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
Q. How should I dress?
No special clothing is required, come as you are.
Q. Is there any physical exercise involved?
No. The classes focus on meditation and teachings alone. You can choose to sit on a chair or meditation cushion.
Q. Do I need to book in advance?

Please just drop in a few minutes before the class starts and pay at the door with cash, cheque or credit/debit.  Members just tick their name on the list.
