How many of our daily thoughts are consumed with our own worries and the challenges of those around us? Buddha’s teachings present radically different ways of approaching the problems we encounter in our everyday lives. By addressing our difficulties with a calm mind, a different view and with new tools that create new habits, we can begin to experience a life with fewer problems and more space for happiness.
In this 4-part series, Sachi will lead us through these “new tools” in a way that will allow us to incorporate them in our lives.
JULY 4: Introducing Meditation
JULY 11: The Truth about Problems
JULY 18: Tragedy of the Blame Game
JULY 25: Buddha’s Radically Different Approach
Sachi is a teacher well loved by our dharma community. She is a member of the Teacher Training Program and will again start teaching weekly classes at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre this fall. Sachi’s background includes experience in human services, community music, and death midwifery.
