DAY:  Mondays, 10.30-11.45am

WHERE:  SHOAL Centre | Card Room, 2nd Floor | 10030 Resthaven Drive, Sidney BC

COST:  $15 per class or FREE with Membership

IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE: No registration necessary

Please arrive a few minutes early at the SHOAL Centre and pay $15 when entering the classroom (cash or cheque only) or just check in if a member.

In this series of classes, we will explore Buddha’s teachings on developing and maintain loving relationships with others. We all long for loving relationships and through understanding Buddha’s teachings on cherishing others we begin to develop a deep and stable source of loving kindness. Understanding our expectations, cherishing others, and developing equanimity will definitely improve all our relationships, leading to a happier life.

Krista is a member of the Teacher Training Program and led the guided meditation on Tuesdays for many years.  Recently, she has been teaching a Tuesday morning class at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre.  Krista is well known for her kind and gentle delivery of Dharma teachings.

Q. Do I need to be a Buddhist to attend?

No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind.

Q. Do I need to have any experience?
No. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
Q. How should I dress?
No special clothing is required, come as you are.
Q. Is there any physical exercise involved?
No. The classes focus on meditation and teachings alone. You can choose to sit on a chair or meditation cushion.
Q. Do I need to book in advance?

Please just drop in a few minutes before the class starts and pay at the door with cash or cheque.  Members just tick their name on the list.
