3-PART SERIES

Amongst all kinds of virtue the rarest and most priceless is the supreme good heart, the mind of bodhichitta.  This is because only the precious bodhichitta has the power to relieve the fear of sickness, loss, old age, death and other painful effects of non-virtue.

If we wish to be freed from the sufferings of samsara we must rely on maintaining the precious bodhichitta.  This supremely altruistic mind is the boat that can ferry all sentient beings across the ocean of suffering to the island of enlightenment.  Bodhichitta is the most sublime and rarest of all methods to achieve happiness.
