ABOUT THE RETREAT

Join us on the Joyful Path Retreat.  Come to one session, come for a full day or come for the full retreat!  This retreat will focus on the ‘stages of the path to enlightenment’,  a series of essential Mahayana Buddhist teachings that we can easily integrate into our modern daily lives.

Day by day we will progress through the stages of the path from realizing our precious human life to developing the wisdom of superior seeing.  Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or experience.

What is a retreat?  During retreat we temporarily withdraw from our usual routines and activities, and learn how to relax and develop peaceful, positive minds through meditation.  The “Joyful Path Retreat” is being offered in downtown Victoria at Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre, easily accessible for people who are unable to get away or who have limited available time.
