We often feel as if we are isolated individuals and suffer from loneliness, yearning to feel a sense of connection with others. In this 3-part meditation course, we will discover and gain an experience of how this perception of ourselves as separate from others is an illusion, for in truth we are all naturally and profoundly interconnected.

By learning to understand and feel this connection we will reduce our sense of isolation, allowing a natural closeness and authentic love for others to arise.  Open to everyone, regardless of previous experience.

SATURDAY OCT 5 / 10.00-11.15am

Closing the gap between self and others.  Loneliness is not based so much on the number of friends we have or don’t have but on our view and feelings. We can heal our feelings of loneliness by recognizing that we are not as separate from others as we might imagine — in truth we are all profoundly interconnected and supported.

SATURDAY OCT 12 / 10.00-11.15am

Living beings have no faults.  Focusing on other people’s faults is the source of much of our negativity and one of the main obstacles to developing feelings of affection and closeness to others. If we want to draw close to others we need to recognize their kindness and good qualities.

SATURDAY OCT 19 / 10.00-11.15am

Learning to cherish others.  We often become strongly attched to another person who we feel will help us overcome our loneliness by providing the comfort, security or excitement we crave.  However if we have a loving mind towards everyone we do not feel lonely.  Instead of clinging onto others to fulfil our desires we shall want to help them fulfil their needs and wishes.
